seams filleted

The inside seams are then "filleted" with an epoxy putty (sometimes known as "glop").  The illustration here shows a cross section of a seam.  Note the twisted copper wire used to temporarily hold the plywood panels together.   When the epoxy "glop" is cured, the twisted wires on the outside are simply snipped off and the outside corner sanded to a nice fair curve.

The outside is now fiberglassed over the the entire bottom and up over the side seams.  The interior does not get fiberglass cloth if light weight is desired and is strong enough for most people.  Interior seam fiberglass can be added if extra strength is needed.
